From her very first days on campus, Thuy Trang left a strong impression as a sweet, soft-spoken young girl with a bright smile.
But behind that gentle demeanour was a determined soul with a powerful dream – the dream of reaching out to the world, to learn, to grow, and to conquer ambitious goals.
It was a bold decision – the first “leap” that brought her closer to the global stage, where she embraced international learning styles, sharpened her critical thinking and English proficiency, and grew confident in a global environment.
“I want to become a CEO.”
It might have sounded like a playful answer during her Speech Communications class in the first year. Yet that declaration quietly marked the beginning of her journey to turn vision into reality.
It was not just youthful enthusiasm – it was a quiet declaration, the fire that fueled her efforts semester-by-semester.
With the dream of studying in the US, Trang chose to begin her undergraduate study with an original US-accredited program right in Vietnam, at Keiser University Vietnam – the official international centre of Keiser University, Florida (USA).
This was not only a time- and cost-effective choice, but more importantly, a way for her to build a solid academic foundation, master English, hone critical thinking, and adapt to an international education model.
Trang’s student life at Keiser University Vietnam was never limited to in-class learning.
She was always proactive, energetic in extracurricular activities, and constantly exploring her own potential.
From the English essays and engaging group presentations to participating in business simulation projects – these experiences shaped her leadership spirit and personal growth.
Gradually, the once timid student grew more confident, mature, and resilient. And she came to understand:
“Not knowing exactly what I want to do doesn’t mean I’ve failed. It means I still have the chance to try, to find what truly belongs to me.”
A Journey Woven with Dreams and Belief
At the 2025 graduation ceremony, whilst standing on stage delivering her speech as a student representative, Trang could not hide her emotions as she thanked her family – the quiet yet unwavering supporters behind her; her instructors – the ones who sparked her passion; and her friends – the teammates who coloured her youth.
Though she has yet to set foot in the United States, her journey has never strayed from that dream. Thanks to the solid academic foundation built through the original US-accredited program at Keiser University Vietnam, that dream now feels closer than ever.
Trang did not just graduate with a High Honours degree, but with a stronger, more confident version of herself.
